                                        LIMITATIONS  OF ENDOLUMINAL TECHNIQUES

One of the limitation is the access and eradication of the ramifications that may accompany the main trunk  (see  echographic image below) in one gesture, which is not the case with surgery. The remaining branches bear the risk of « relapse » in the medium and long term, and may lead to additional treatments   ( phlebectomy - foam sclerosing - Redo…) . Other  limitations are related to  the way of connection with the deep venous system, and needs individual assessment .
